Longshan Temple: Longshan Temple is in the Wanhua district in the west of Taipei. It is built in 1738 by the Fujian settlers to bless the safety of the neighborhood. Tourists can pray for love in front of Yue Lao (the old man under the moon) But apart from Yue Lao, this historical temple also serves a mixture of Taoist, Confucianist, & Buddhist faiths. The Huaxi Night market, Herb Lane, & Bopiliao nearby is also good for visiting.
Taipei 101: The high-speed elevator will take the tourists to go up fast, & you can see the scenery changing fast at different heights. Go up to the 88th floor, tourists will meet a huge Wind Damper first. It is designed for keeping Taipei 101 stable when the earthquake or typhoon are happening.
