Day Tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius Experience from Sorrento

Spend a day in the Vesuvius area; accompanied by a local guide you will visit the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the imposing Vesuvius. Pick-up at the hotel and transfer by minibus, accompanied by a local guide and a small group to Pompeii. Upon arrival, visit about 2 hours through the famous Pompeii ruins, accompanied by our official guide. Thanks to its burial under a layer of ash and lapilli for hundreds of years, the city has retained its charm until the 18th century, when the first excavations brought to light its history. After the visit, free time for lunch. In the early afternoon, the visit will continue to Mount Vesuvius. The bus will arrive up to 1,000 meters high, from that point, the tour will continue on foot for about 30 minutes.
