This afternoon tour commences by travelling your way from Bowness Bay towards Waterhead, enjoying the cruising on England's largest Lake, Windermere. Delight in the unparalleled views from the Lake towards the fell ranges beyond. After reaching Waterhead, head towards the Beatrix Potter's Hill Top Farm, where she wrote a number of her famous children's stories in this 17th century cottage. Also grab a chance to explore the house from inside (additional charges and not open Fridays), explore the beautiful gardens and visit the numerous shop. Our next destination is the medieval village of Hawkshead, wherein you will some leisure time to discover its different delightful features. Get your cameras ready as you will get plenty of photo opportunities as William Wordsworth old Grammar School is located here. Head towards the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, which is amongst the most photographed locations in the Lake District. Take in the breath-taking views looking at the mountains of Tarn Hows, before moving back to your hotel in Windermere.
